JESUS IS GOD
All throughout Scripture, from the beginning to the end, Christ is identified as one with the Father. In John 10:30 Jesus says, "I and the Father are one." John 1:18 also reveals this truth stating, "No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known." Scripture teaches us that the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ, are one — in all fullness and divinity. For the fullness of God dwells in Christ completely expressing the divine essence of God. Jesus challenges Philip in John 14:9 stating, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognize clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’ Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works.”
Join us in studying the biblical truth of who Jesus Christ is — the exact representation of God, Himself, “the image of the invisible God” and rightfully named, Immanuel which means, God with us.
